Acknowledgments and Dedications

I would like to honor my father who inspired me and my mother who supported me in pursuit of my dream. She encouraged me to persevere despite many difficulties. To them, I give my heartfelt thanks and deepest appreciation.

I would like to extend my gratitude to Mr. Gary Kohs, President of Fine Arts Models . Thanks to him my family and I have been able to put down our roots after trailing around the world for years. My family and I have anchored for good in the USA now. It has became “our place in the world”…

I also wish to acknowledge:  Juan Carlos Ibáñez and Estéban Picco of the Instituto Aeronaval (Argentina), Arsenio Rueda Campos and Charles Munana (Spain), Iakov Terner, and Michael Cohen (Heil Avir Museum, Israel), Dave Menard and Charles G. Worman of the United States Air Force Museum, Tom D. L. Rose, Christie’s Model Department Director, London, and Eric J. Jumper, associate Professor and Associate Chairman for Aerospace Engineering of the University of Notre Dame. Special thanks to Norberto Arcay, Dr. Enrique H.B. Castilla and Francisco O. Salgado from Akapol S.A.C.I.F.I.A. Argentina, and to Matias Van Balen Blanken, David McComb and Jim Renaud for the help on the website construction. Also, special thanks to Mr. Richard (Dick) Atkins, Technical Director Vought Aircraft Industries (Vought Retiree Club), for his technical support and help with the Kingfisher model.

I would also like to thank my brother Mario and his wife Carmen, because without their help I wouldn't  have been able to go to Europe.

Also an extra thank for my former colleague and friend Jacobo Preguerman, to our friend Anita Kanakaris, and our loved Mishi.

Finally I want to express my love and gratitude to my wife who also supported and encouraged me in  pursuing my career and my dreams. Since meeting her she has been, and continues to be my secretary, my “foreign minister”, my agent, my receptionist who answers my telephone calls and e-mail messages, and, cheerleader/therapist/social worker/psychologist among many other roles.
